Small Bear

Back in the 80's Family Circle or Women's Day magazine published the pattern for a small crocheted bear (about 4-6 inches) I think there was a picture of it on the cover ( not sure). I would love to have this pattern again. Does any one remember it? Thanks for any help.

Was it a teddy bear or koala bear, etc.? What kind of bear?

Hi Jean Marie, thanks for your time trying to help me. I've looked for this for a longtime and can't come close. It's a small simple easy to make teddy bear. When my kids were little I made a set of 1 each red,orange,yellow,green,
blue,& purple, and used them to teach colors. Also used with grandkids. Now want for great-grands. But lost bears in a move. Again thank you very much for your effort. Very kind of you. Warmest regards.

I was able to find a website that posted all the covers (1970-1999) for family circle.. and there are no other pics of crochet bears on the covers..
this one is from 1995.. and its the only one...
