Prayers go out for all the people who lose everything yesterday during the numerous tornadoes that swept across the country.

One of the tornadoes hit in Brookport, a tiny town on the south eastern tip of Illinois, just an hour from me. I travel down there regularly and I know it was a poor community to begin with. The schools all around it are closed today as the community tries to dig out. Your prayers are appreciated.

I grew up in Carpentersville, IL. north west of Chicago, so even though I have been in NC for many years I still worry about friends in the area. It just is awful what you see on the news coverage of all the disasters, there are just far to many of them these days.
