Thanks Patti,
I have done this alot but didn't really realize that it saved an ugly knot. Thanks for the site. It will be very useful for other things as well.

OK, I've been crocheting for close to 40 years, off and on, and I never saw that technique before. That is awesome! If I take nothing else away from this site (and believe me, I have already) this tip is priceless to me. I have always hated how those knots look.
