fat bottom purse help

I have finally finished crocheting this purse, but I'm not sure how to "assemble" it. I know it goes length wise, but I really don't understand the directions for making the handle nor getting it together. Can someone tell me where to go to maybe find a video tutorial explaining how to do this? I have a handle ordered, but it won't be here until August 8th (backorder); therefore, I am going to have to crochet the handle for this one. Please somebody, help me. The next one will be so much easier because the first one is always trial and error for me. Thanking in advance for your much needed help.
