    New Type of yarn skein

Check out this new way of producing yarn skeins so they don't tangle as you open or use them. They will be available in Caron, Red Heart and Bernat yarns. Do you think that the whole thing would get loose toward the end?

Hi Sweet Sue, Thanks for this post. I have not seen those yarns rolled like that yet. I do purchase all the brands you posted. It was neat to see how they did it.

    Thanks for sharing,

I don't think it would stay together as you work along. Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Sue H.

Hello ging36ging, I agree with you.
I thought that too when I saw the new yarn.
I guess you have to use a yarn bowl.

Hi! Go to BagODay Crochet on YouTube and watch Crystal’s review of this new yarn packaging. I was not impressed with it. Just a gimmick I think. You can decide what you think of it. imalefty

Hi, I didn't think of a bowl but I have a crochet bag with a hole on top that would probably work. Thanks for your thought on a bowl. I'll have to try it. Sue H.

I don't know what to make of this innovation. I have gotten into the habit of making my skeins into balls. Yes, it's slow. Yes, I need a ball winder. Who knows, maybe I'll get one for Christmas!

    Hello MeToo,
Have you been naughty or nice? In order to get a gift you have to behave.

I saw this yarn in one of the shops I went to and I was not impressed with it. It looked stiff and used. I am not a fan of yarn that changes colors in long rows. I prefer to control what color comes next.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

    Hi Spoula,
Are you talking about pooling your yarn? That would be hard!
