Can I make crochet patterns with Bellish?

There are currently only knitting patterns available in the app, but we would love to offer crochet patterns in the future!

    Oh, well!

Once I realized the flexibility of crochet to define elaborate forms, I wanted to explore these possibilities, maintaining the physical process while letting the computer handle most of the tedium. The program is a design interface that takes a given form, in this case a sweater, and allows me to draw and generate crochet patterns in the "sweater space". The resultant pattern is too complex to follow as you would a normal crochet pattern, so once a pattern is generated, I can go back through it with the program and follow along step-by-step as I crochet.

Not sure how this works, to tell the truth. I do love those 2 sweaters in any case.

    Hi calamityjane,
The jane throw is fun to crochet. You might like it.

I thought the jane throw was sc in 1st st and dc in the next st across row and if you end up w/ a dc then ch 1 and turn and sc in the 1st st and dc in the second st.

I don't have two sweaters that are my favorite although I like the wrap around sweaters. Pull-overs are nice too.

You were asking me, I take it?

The brown and red ones here:
    Extreme Craft: Pattern Recognition

Gilbert built on the work of the Institute for Figuring by creating a computer program that generates very complex radial crochet patterns. With this project, he's using the technology of mass-production to create work on a more intimate scale. These gorgeous sweaters would stand out from the crowd with their unusual design alone, but when you know about the thought behind them, they become wearable art of the highest order. I wonder if you could hypnotize somebody with these!
