Row 16 is your left ear flap

On row 15 you're ONLY crocheting into the next 35 HDC's.

Then you turn your work, and crochet row 16's 35 HDC's into the HDC's of row 15.

    Thanks Spoula,
I thought maybe I was supposed to turn my work before doing the left ear flap.

I read it that I turn after rnd 16 just before the left ear flap. So after rnd 16 it's ch1 and turn and then start the left ear flap.

On the left ear flap I did 8 hdc's after the hdc decrease instead of 6hdc's to make it a bit bigger.

Each row on the earflap I had to do 2 more hdc's because I started with 8 hdc after the 1st hdc decrease - hdc decrease, 8 hdc, hdc decrease.

I used a size H hook for hat and earflaps so on the border I'm using size H hook.

For the iris I used a size G hook. For the pupil I'm going to use a G hook also. For the bow I'm going to use a G hook.
