Patternes for Stuffed Animals
Since I was in the holiday mood, I looked for patterns for stuffed animals. These make precious gifts for little ones. Just be careful about giving anything to babies that might have pieces that could come off.
Baby Triceratops
Pomp-a-Poodle
Christmas Kitty
Arthur the Polar Bear
There are lots more out there but these will get us started.

Crochet Spot » Blog Archive » Free Crochet Pattern: Christmas Ball Ornament - Crochet Patterns, Tutorials and News These include patterns for ornaments but since it is in the same Christmas spirit I thought I would post it here!

Thanks Theresa!
I've been working on the little miniature animals lately and plan to make a whole menagerie! They are fun and quick--I just don't like the sewing on the legs and arms and embroidering the face, ;-)
So far I've made a panda bear and pig and I am working on a green snake!

You are welcome, Patti. I hope you'll share some pictures of your menagerie when you get it completed!

Christmas at my house brought lots of crocheting of different sorts but the animals were the most favored. Waiting too long into the season to get started, I was limited on time for research for patterns although I found enough to get by. Now that I have the time, I have been looking for all I can find. I just started today in this search but I found that as my search engine "free ebook crochet arigurumi patterns" there are a lot of them to choose from and they are downloadable immediately. I'm looking forward to the fun of looking and deciding what's for next xmas!

I agree ckhdge!
There are just soooooo many! My intention is to do the same and have enough ready for presents for christmas and birthdays alike. We'll see how that goes, lol, since I am already off on another tangent doing leg warmers for my granddaughter.

I have a 2-year-old-granddaughter and I think making a menagerie for Christmas next year might be fun. She'll be three by then and she already loves all the animals she sees here - dogs, cats, chickens and our little goats. Maybe I will make a farm collection one year and zoo collection next year!

What a good idea! Smiles on their faces are worth every stitch.
