    Starting over with something easier...

I put the baby afghan aside, I really hate the way it has turned out. Here are links to two hats I am going to do. Neither of the tutorials say how much yarn is needed?

Hi Lucie, Don't give up on your blanket you did a lot of work to get where you are. I could not answer you about joining as I didn't understand the instructions. Joining squares takes practice and there are many ways and different stitches to do that. I bet I tear out all the time until I get it right.

Nope, putting it aside. Not a total loss, needed the practice to get the feel of the tension. I am off to JoAnn's tomorrow to get a size 6.5 crochet hook and following a video on how to crochet a beanie for beginners. I can't wait!

Hi Lucie, The first video says to use 50 grams of yarn.
