I enjoy anything new and different, but lacy and/or textured stitches are my favorites.

I want to learn the loop stitch I think it is called. My Mom made the most beautiful booties, very frilly looking, with the loop stitch all over them. No pattern at all unfortunately but I still want to learn it somehow. It will require me to use and do well, the loop stitch!!
