well would you believe I just figured this out.. found this over at raverly.. item is called Pink Pineapply Doily..
this is a free pattern so don't waste your money buying it from Amazon..

Published in Doilies, Doilies, Doilies, Star Doily Book No. 87, by American Thread Company in 1951.
In size 10 crochet cotton, with a #7 steel hook, finished size is approximately 16-1/2 inches in diameter.
In size 30, with a #12 steel hook, finished size is 11-1/2 inches.

I believe this is the pattern you are looking for. It is out of print, and yes, as Sheilah said it is free. Should just be able to click on the link above. It is just called pink pineapple doily.

I saw one made in a royal purple, trimmed in white, pretty too, but would have to have the right place for it.
