I am making a shrug and ran out of sweet roll butterscotch and wanted to get some

    Mandala, bernat pop, caron cake
    any suggestion..

I have mixed yarns a few times. I made sure the care instructions were the same and the weight of both was compatible. Worked out ok. Good luck! imalefty

I'm trying to do the same but in reverse. I bought some Caron Baby Cakes but not enough to finish the blanket. Couldn't find any and was told by manufacturer that it is a seasonal item and may not return. I have decided that Mandala is always available at Walmart, has more yardage that Caron or Sweet Roll so I'm sticking with it from now on. It's always $4.97. Oh, decided to run blanket with 3 white stripes and 2 stripes of Baby Cakes. Also did a three color edging to make the Baby Cakes stripes stand out. Turned out beautifully.
