    Free pattern -Sudoku Square

I was trying to follow a diagram for another square and I did this one that doesn't look like the one in the diagram , but it does look like an empty SUDOKU . I didnt find anything on the internet that looks like this so i guess its my pattern design. To edge and stabilize the square, I did sc in each stitch except the corner where I did sc, ch, sc in the middle corner stitch.

Sudoku square- start with a 3 ch ring, ch 3, dc,ch 5, do 2 dcs into ring, ch 5 repeat 3 times. R2- top the dcs with dcs, ch 2, do dc, ch 5, dc in the 3rd ch of the ch 5 , repeat . R3- dcs on the dcs , ch2, dc on the dc, ch 2, dc, ch5, dc in the 3rd ch of the ch 5 , repeat. join to the beg in the 3rd ch. add edge if you want. If this is not clear, i'll explain better. It makes a square in # 10 cotton that is 2" wide, 2 and 1/4 with stabilizing edge. may be 5 inches wide in yarn ?
