On the lap blanket, on the edging, it says to sl st in the top of sc and to sl st in top of a ch. What does that mean? How do you do that?

You may be reading it wrong. It may mean when you get to the end of the row you sl st in the top of the last ch. hope that helped.

The rainbow coloured mittens my grandson wanted are done. Now I am working on a hat to match to use up the extra yarn I have. Surprise for him when I see him.

Lovely work all! I'm currently working on an afghan for a wedding present, but I have developed DeQuervain's Syndrome (a type of tendonitis at the base of my thumbs) so the going is a little slow. Will post pics when I'm done.

Hi everyone. I am currently working on two knitted leaf prayer shawls. One of them is complete except for joining the two peices and of blocking it, and I am half way through the second one. I thought I would wait til I had all the peices knitted and off the needles before joining the peices of each shawl and blocking both at the same time. Once I have them completed, I will give both to the priest to bless and distribute to a recipient in need. When I receive the cotton yarn I ordered, I plan on making a few knitted and/or crochet prosthetics for knitted knockers before starting on the next project.
