    Yes, i used aunt Lydia's, but Red Heart is fine. That sample is only 8 and a half inches wide. I need to put a ruler in my pics LOL. Are you sure? That size is Barbie size for a shawl. I also added a single crochet edge to the beginning edge.

    If you are doing the shawl like the pattern please use the yarn weight of lace and the hook size they recommend and do a swatch to check for gauge . A 8.5 mm hook will make it lighter and looser in weave but it will be the right size.
