You can choose to accept money orders for items in your etsy shop, but you also don't need a business paypal to have an etsy shop either. Not sure if this helps or not, but I hope so.

Ivy I have a regular paypal account and I can use it to make payments and take payments. I even have a paypal app on my phone (free) and I can take credit card payments right there. The attachment to run the credit card through the phone was also free and, again, I do not have a business account. Also, if you are in the states, try a site called "nowhitetent.com" it gives information on craft shows and such in your area that don't cost an arm and a leg. Good Luck and keep us posted!

You might try ebay, it's fairly easy to sell on there you didn't say if you looked in to that. you might do well at fairs especially since there are so many where you live

Hi Ivy,
I know you ask your question a while ago but I am just now seeing it.
I sell my work on FB. I have a page just for what I sell so that I do not get all that stuff on my personal page. I join all the yard sale, garage sale, flea Market and Hand Crafted pages in my area that allow selling by members. Also look for kids boutiques. In their search engine type in garage sale and the city where you live to find those pages. You are welcome to look at my page Darling By Duchess to see what I am talking about. You may also friend me and message me any questions you may have.
Hope this helps,
Dutch
