You can choose to accept money orders for items in your etsy shop, but you also don't need a business paypal to have an etsy shop either. Not sure if this helps or not, but I hope so.

    selling my crochet goods

You can open on etsy for no money at all. I have done that but have been so busy selling that I haven't had time to update my site. They walk you through the whole page and it is very easy to do. good luck

My fiance provides for us as a pizza delivery driver but I want to help bring in some money even if it would be at least $50 a month. I'm trying to look into craft shows because here in Southern Maryland there seem to be a lot. I am thinking of maybe finding places online like this forum where I can maybe sell things without getting into trouble for selling if that makes sense? I was thinking about maybe trying to get people on facebook to maybe buy some but i doubt they'd be interested. Still that would be the most comfortable way for me to get my work seen. Other than here. Here i dont think anyone would really buy anything because im sure anything i can make you all could make way better lol. Anyway i guess advice on how and where to sell is what im asking for.
    Any advice is much appreciated!

Ivy I have a regular paypal account and I can use it to make payments and take payments. I even have a paypal app on my phone (free) and I can take credit card payments right there. The attachment to run the credit card through the phone was also free and, again, I do not have a business account. Also, if you are in the states, try a site called "nowhitetent.com" it gives information on craft shows and such in your area that don't cost an arm and a leg. Good Luck and keep us posted!

You might try ebay, it's fairly easy to sell on there you didn't say if you looked in to that. you might do well at fairs especially since there are so many where you live

    Hi Ivy,
I know you ask your question a while ago but I am just now seeing it.
I sell my work on FB. I have a page just for what I sell so that I do not get all that stuff on my personal page. I join all the yard sale, garage sale, flea Market and Hand Crafted pages in my area that allow selling by members. Also look for kids boutiques. In their search engine type in garage sale and the city where you live to find those pages. You are welcome to look at my page Darling By Duchess to see what I am talking about. You may also friend me and message me any questions you may have.
    Hope this helps,
    Dutch
