Bad News for Crochet Today Subscribers
Here's a bummer. I received what I thought was my new issue of 'Crochet Today!' in the mail yesterday. Instead, I opened an issue of 'Mollie Makes, US Edition'. I received a letter stating that my subscription has been changed to this new magazine. Come to find out, 'Crochet Today!' will no longer be printed! I'm sure 'Mollie Makes' is a nice magazine, but after flipping through it, it's not for me. There were only 3 crochet patterns in the whole thing! I'm so disappointed!

I had called them when there was a post about this a little while back and the customer service rep said they were just waiting for the final decision for the end of Crochet Today. I used to buy it at Barnes & Noble, even though it cost more than a subscription. I just went onto the website for Crochet Today, clicked on Subscriber Services and found the current issue of Mollie Makes, US edition. It is probably the one you received, cover shows crocheted flowers.
I liked Crochet Today, it was very reminiscent of the old Crochet with Heart by Red Heart published years ago. I have glanced through Mollie Makes in the store, not impressed with it. Sorry to see Crochet Today discontinued.

Jenni, Can you look in one of the books you have gotten in the past for a Phone Number for Customer Service and tell them that you don't want the other magazine and to refund your money? They should have sent you notice of the change and if you wanted to keep getting the new magazine. I always bought mine at Hobby Lobby. I am sad to see it discontinued. Margaret.

That IS sad, it was the only crochet magazine that I felt was for every skill level and had what I'd call realistic patterns.

Crochet World is still "alive". It's Crochet Today that has closed its doors.
