I just read somewhere that a pencil grip is great to put, on your crochet handle. Just use some adhesive tape then slide the rubber grip over it. Just an idea, Rae

Hi,
I use those 'comfort grip crochet' to put over your crochet hook( you have to cut the tip off w/a scissors) then I put those gel grips(pen/pencil grips)-(foam or gel grips) over the 'comfort grips'.

Thanks for the information on using gel grips. I found them at Wal-Mart. I have arthritis in my fingers and these help. The gel grips I found are too big for the size G hook, I put a piece of wax ear plugs to hold the grip in place and it works good.

I hold my hook in the palm of my hand and really don't have a problem with it hurting my hand unless I have been using the afghan hook for a long period of time and have to try and keep it so the hook goes through the right way
