    Question

    What does a pattern mean when it says with main color work doubled? Does that mean use 2 yarns?

    That would be my guess. Every pattern writer is just a little different with their wording.

    I agree also, usually they say use two strands. If you are unsure, you can always do a gauge swatch to make sure it looks right.

    Yes it means two strands of yarn....but LI Roe is right...do a gauge swatch to be sure you're on track. Hugs, Dinah
