Susan, these squirrels are at a wildlife reserve. I make the nests for all baby animals to keep them cozy and warm...The wildlife center sent a photo with the squirrels in the ests....Yes those squirrels are real but in the wildlife center and not in my house,..hha

Hahaha Songbird love your online name by the way. i figured squirrel story was that...a Bird Life Center WOW it is like a very

How cute!! Amazing you do that, I admire you...We have a couple squirrels that live in our wood box and I take my yarn cuttings and put out and they gather them up and built their own nests, sometimes I will also catch the birds taking them for nesting materials. But what a great thing to crochet a nest. Thanks so much for sharing.
