Translation of knitting and crochet terms

I found this site and it comes in handy when doing graphs and trying to decipher some patterns that may not translate very well.

Translates English, French, German, Spanish and Italian crochet and knitting terms

Oh, lol, that hdc, i was confused i guess. Yes UK english and american english can be a bit different in crochet. That is slso nice in this site that theydo let you know when the meanings are different. And that is why i like graphs, help rid that gap

Don't feel badly..before I joined the group I never even did a half double crochet..so when it came to a pattern I was looking at I had to look it up..I didn't know what YO was either (yarn over) and then didn't understand what to do..and then figure it out..duh..wrap you hook..lol...there was a lot I didn't know. BTW (bytheway..lol) I ♥ hdc stitch now.
