Hey, a raglan sleeved sweater! As if I don't have enough to do! (I'm working on a raglan sleeved jacket.) There's too many drop sleeves in crochet so every time I find a pattern with raglan sleeves, I feel I have to get going.

Also, I would not mind taking a crack at a set-in sleeve garment. Yes, they are somewhat persnickety to put together (and probably to design as well?), but it's time for crochet to start looking as good as knitting all the time.

I have an Encyclopedia of Needlework (pub. 1979, I think) where they have one pattern for a (small) cardigan with set in sleeves. They mention that there's only 3 kinds of sleeves that look good: set-in, raglan, and semi-raglan.

Here's a note I found on the internet:

    What are set in sleeves?
A 'set-in' sleeve has a seam at the shoulder which continues around the complete arm's material. This style of sleeve gives a more professional, formal and possibly natural look!
