    Diagram Patterns

Does anyone here like diagram patterns for doilies? I find them so much easier to follow then the written patterns. Also I miss Magic Crochet and Decorative Crochet etc. Those magazines were wonderful!

Hello! You are right but some patterns cannot have diagrams. For example some Patricia Kristoffersen doilies. I collect magazines too.

Yes I agree that diagrams are so much easier. I remember those titles and miss them as well.

I like the diagrams too and have collected several books from 1975 until now. I color coded the rows so I can see them easier. I have a library of crochet books but my main interest is babies, fashion dolls (111/2", 15", 15" and 24" fashion dolls

I used to crochet doilies a lot. In fact I have the entire collection of Magic Crochet magazines minus 2 which I am still trying to find. I find diagrams much easier to follow than written directions, especially for doilies.

I learned to crochet doilies from Decorative Crochet Magazine and Elizabeth Hiddleson books. Took a while to do but I like them too...
