Hello SweetSal, My daughter is in the business world and I was asking her about this same subject. Because she had told me as well as a lot of other people that my crocheting was beautiful and I should sell it. I told her I wouldn't have the beginning idea on how to price it. She said that I needed to take into consideration the hours I spent on making the product, the cost of the materials, the cost of the pattern if any, thing of this nature. And also take into consideration the minimum wage for your state. I am far from an expert on these matters because everything I make is given as a gift. So I know that this doesn't help much but hopefully it will help some to get you started at least. It at the very least gives you a direction of where to look into it at. Good luck with your venture, I am trying to do the same thing with baby articles. Grandmommy of 5

Thank you grand mommy of five for your answer. I too am grandmother of six. I hadn't thought about the minimum wage thing. I am getting ready for my first craft show with crocheted and sewing items. Years ago I did jewelry. But then everyone was doing jewelry. I loved making it but had to let it go. I'm hoping my soft line of goods will sell. Blessings to you.
