This is not a joke. I was telling my 2 granddaughters; who had babies in June and July, that I would crochet the babies, booties. They said what are booties?. Now these girls both have college educations and good jobs, but had never heard about booties.

I understand that lol. Girls are just not into doing crocheting or knitting like they used to be these days I have two ggstt both aged two. One lives in Florida and one in West Virginia so seldom see them though however the one from Florida's is here for a visit fir a week right now my grand daughter. He is a joy. Ive only seen the other boy in pictures

It amazes me how the young people seems to have forgotten words we thought were apart of our language these days. Guess since since I am an antique our words were getting that way too. Lol words like antimccaster for the arm of the chairs. And Saqueu for a baby shrug are obsolete and guess booties will be one of them soon.
