    Crochet

Hi I am Bonnie L. I am looking for pillowcase crochet patterns. I want to crochet the edge right onto the pillow case and not sew it on afterwards. Do you have any patterns to do this. Most of them in the books I have sew them on after you crochet the edge. Thanks

I use an ice pick to make holes in the material that I then crochet through. There is a rotary cutter for the job but I am low tech! lol You then use any edging pattern that you want. Most sites have edging patterns. I don't know if we have them on the forum page but you can look under resouces and links and you can always google crochet edging patterns. Good luck and if you need more help just ask.

Thanks for your help. I use a large needle and I just did a shell stitch on a pillowcase but wanted more ideas or patterns so I can do some different edgings. Bonnie L
