How long have you crocheted, or desired to learn?

I just finished a bridal rose afgan for a wedding. I have been making dishcloths and all my friends and my daughter fight over them. I make silppers for all my family and friends. I made some of slippers the out of the cotton thread i was doing dishcloths with and my daughter likes them better then the acrlic yarn. over the years i have made two pinapple tablecloths. and baby clothes, dolies. My mom started me doing chain stich when i was a kid.
