    foxielady,

Welcome to the crochet forums! It is a pleasure to have you as a member! How long have you been crocheting, or desired to learn the process?

    Hello,

That is great to hear you have been knitting, too. I personally have not ventured there yet!

    Hi foxielady!
Glad to have you join us. I am a former knitter that switched to crochet. I still love the patterns you get from knitting but like how much faster crochet seems to go.
I am thinking about trying to crochet/knit socks just to see which way I prefer. I think I know that knitting (stockinette) pattern would be the best but wondering if I could get the same effect with crochet.
