Hello fellow yarn people! I am Helaine and I live near Palm Springs, CA. I'm 63 and although I have been crocheting since I was 8, I'm just learning how to knit. I'm a lefty who learned from a righty, so I don't think I'm doing a lot of it correctly. I'll try and post some pictures of my practice pieces so anything you can do to help point me in the right direction!

Hello aubreysnana, Welcome to the forum. I watched you tube videos to learn how to knit. There are many videos that are made where you can choose left hand or right hand ones to watch.
Have you tried to look at any of those kinds of videos it might be helpful?

I started out making baby things in knitting. I didn't know any of the stitches and had to look them up on you tube to see how they were made. The hardest thing for me starting was to keep the yarn on the needle. I like to challenge myself and it is fun to learn new things.

I look forward to seeing some of your items.
