How to translate patterns to english

Hi all this is the first time I have ever been on a forum and I am excited to be here. I have found a wonderful crochet /knit pattern and I really would like to work it however it is in Russian and I have no idea how to begin. I tried to look up all kinds of ways to translate but I have failed and thought maybe a forum could help me.

Hi I am not sure if this is to long if it is I understand. I ended up finding this link about the pattern and she says here it is in English but I don't see how the knit part is in English. I think I can figure out the square chart really I guess it could be any square pattern but I am stuck on the knit part. Here is the link thank you so much. Welcome! Yes, patterns in other languages is a real problem for me too because Google translate has a LONG way to go to translate a crochet pattern well. Charts are better, but even with those sometimes a few words or pics would go a long way to understanding. Larisa has been very helpful to many people, but she has a life too, so we can't over-extend her kindness!

Thank you. I think I am going to find another pattern for a coat and then make it that way. Lots of times I can make things just by looking at the pictures but thought it would be nice to make this if I could translate cause it is a free pattern. I will keep you all posted on here and let you all know how it goes. Thanks again

Yep, Google translate is pretty bad when it coems to translating for crochet. I wish was a better option.
