It's been such a long time

It has been forever since I was last here. Life does really get in the way sometimes. I thought I should re-introduce myself just a little bit.

I live in NE Minnesota. A transplant from Minneapolis in 1991.

I crochet (duh). I used to make baby things, and I still like to make them but I have broadened my skills.
Right now I am working on a blanket that is a CAL. At one point I thought I would have to give it up. It was taxing my patience, brain, and I thought my skill level. It still might be, but I am a third through it and have decided that this pattern will NOT beat me.

I have missed talking with like minded people. It is so fun and nice to chat with people who all share a passion.

Hi Trudy,
Nice to have you back. I'm crocheting a blanket for my niece. She wants 3 Greek letters on it. She wants it for a twin size bed. I don't know exactly when I started but I figure it's been 3 months that I've been working on it. I'm still crocheting the blanket and I'm going to embroider the letters on w/ a triangle but I'm not sure how I'm going to do it. The letters will be inside the triangle. I also am going to do a border. I wonder if I'll be done by Christmas. Wish me luck.

Hi Trude! Glad you are back. What kind of CAL are you doing? Like what type of stitches,etc.? I have never done a CAL for two reasons-my being left handed and liking to create at my own pace. I applaud you for sticking with it!���� Happy Stitching!
