Hello from a newbie

Hi everyone,

I don't know where to begin and the beginning was too long ago.
I just had my 64th birthday and look forward to my next. My husband and I are both retired and we enjoy doing a lot of things together. Such as camping, fishing, working in the yard, watching movies together and playing on our computers. Health problems limit our activities.

Of course not all of my time is filled with the pleasure of his company. I lost the vision in my right eye many years ago due to an autoimmune disease so in my free time I decorate eye patches, do crafts, read and of course crochet. I like being around upbeat funny people. If I had a motto it might be "Don't take life so serious, have some fun." I try to keep a positive attitude and happy go lucky frame of mind.

I just started crocheting again after many years of doing it once a year for towel toppers for my neighbors at Christmas.

Ok Ok so I don't have to write a book...

I look forward to getting to know you and hope to make many friends here.
