Good morning. My name is Jim, I have been crocheting for 50 years. My favorite pattern is the windmill and one of my favorite stitiches is the Love-Knot. I sometimes knit in public. I usede to get teo hours for lunch st my last job and so after I ate my lunch at the Farmer's Market, I would crohet until it was time to go go back to work. In 50 years, I've never had a negative response, although people often say, I've never seen a man crocheting before, I also learned to do do filet crochet, counted cross -stitch and chicken scratch, and at one time I was learn
ing to knit. Nice to meet all of you.

Welcome Jim! I've met several male crocheters/knitters through this group though I admit, I've never met one in real life! Good for you having the confidence to knit publicly. I'll bet with all that experience, you've made some wonderful pieces.

    Hello Jim.
It's great to meet another man in the crochet community here.
I've been knitting and crocheting in public for a long time. My sons' tennis and soccer games were one of the places I would do so. I live in a hockey-obsessed town, but I myself don't like it one bit, so I'm a bit of a misfit here, but I don't let it get to me.
