I plan to bake cookies using cake mix and freezing them for Christmas. One recipe calls for choc cake mix and peanut butter chips. Going today to get the ingredients. Have fun baking!

I made the no bake ones and I really wasn't impressed with it! They tasted OK but I'd rather have the good old fashioned peanut butter cookies that you mash down with a fork!!!
I usually make fudge and pumpkin bread to give as gifts!!

Now you did it! You made me think of the list I made out! I have to make kolaches, mud puddles (miniature peanut butter cups pushed into choc chip dough), Rugelachs, sour cream twists. Then I have to make my breads: babavka, orange jubilee, nut & poppyseed rolls, honey almond twists, and butterflies. Then if we have time, we make rosettes, Whew! Thanks for reminding me, Landon! Seriously, We have fun! I love baking the breads the most. I love the rolling and shaping. It's like crocheting. It's creating something out of nothing. Judy

c'mon north. The doors are open! WE love our goodies at Christmas. Our parents left us with a lot of old recipes. My dad is the one who like to make the breads, and my husband, Dan's mom is the one who like to bake, too. How did we ever do it when we worked full-time? Argh!!!!Gotta go work on my grandson's Yoda and (ick) Michigan afghan! Talk to you later! Judy
