    Hi Jean Marie, I like the idea only I would have cut the fabric for the back to be as high as the front. I know you would not see it but it looks unfinished to me if both sides are not even. I would not decorate the back with the ribbon but this is just me.

    I have a towel that a friend made for me with a very pretty satin ruffle at the bottom. In the middle of the towel was a circle of flowers and she put a satin letter in the middle of the circle the first letter of her name so that when I saw or used the towel I would remember her. That was 25 years ago. Every time I take out a towel to use I see that beautiful gift and I do think of her.
