    Final update on my melanoma

Hi all. Well, I finally had the stitches removed on Weds. Sept 7 and received the results of the biopsy that was sent to Duke after the surgery to double-check something suspicious that was in question. It is all clear and there is no cancer around the margins. I do have to follow-up every six months for two years with the surgeon and also every three months for about the same time with the dermatologist. Those first appointments have been made but basically I am clear.

Thanks for all your good wishes and prayers.

Now I am off to work outside in the backyard. Hope everyone is doing well.

    See y'all soon.

    Roe

My husband had 2 melanoma removed about 3 months ago and I had 1 carcinoma removed recently. We are both clear but have to see dermatologist every 3 months for 2 years. God is good!
