I am thankful that my husband and I celebrated 45 years together on the 11th, I turned 72 on the 16th, several medical tests I had came back negative. I am especially thankful for my Lord and Savior who watches over me and my family, and blesses us everyday.

I thank my Heavenly Father for getting me through my battle with bronchitis, for giving me a little more energy every day, for my loving husband who takes such good care of me, for Bible reading, devotionals and praying with my husband and for my sweet dog who doesn’t want to leave my side.

I thank my loving Father for every new day, for the ability to crochet, for the sun that feels warm on my skin, for eyes that see His beautiful flowers, for ears that hear His birds sing their lovely songs, for a wonderful husband who loves me and takes such good care of me, and for His Son who gave His life so I could be with Him for eternity.

I am thankful for God being with me for all of my days. The doctors found a tiny spot on my lung and scheduled me for another CT scan on October 2nd. I saw my oncologist on the 3rd and he said there had been no change from the scan I had a month ago. So they will watch it closely but they all think it’s from the bronchitis I had. Also on the 3rd we took our dog for surgery on his left knee. He is home now and recovery nicely. We will take him back to the surgeon in a week for a check up and to have the stitches removed. God is so good. He has seen us through these days of uncertainty and caring for and about each other. He is always with us and I pray that He is always with you.
God bless
Mary
