Crochet Newbie

Hi,

My name is Janet and i live in the UK. I have been knitting all my life (since infant school) but have never been able to crochet. Had a few tries over the years and given up. I have been watching You tube videos on crochet the last three weeks and I have been having some success. First I crocheted around the edge of a knitted hat in single crochet and I managed to make some simple crochet flowers to decorate my knitted hats/ear warmers. Last week I made my first crochet beanie following a you tube tutorial and i have just finished a second one......now I am hooked. I still have lots to learn and I am sure I will be on here asking plenty of questions but I am thrilled with my crochet achievements so far
