Smile Little Old Lady from Ft. Worth

I'm 78 and never been happier. Since I live in a retirement community, I don't have to shop, chop, or mop. It ain't cheap but worth it. Remember the song "Got the Sun in the Morning?" I have it. And a balcony and a birdhouse in a big tree and orange/tangerine walls and have time to spend crocheting, beading, genealogy. My name is Pat.

Hey, Pat. I also live in Texas. We are 13 miles north of San Antonio. We are in a senior housing here . But I do our house work and the cooking The maintanence and the yard work is done by the owners.. We have a Patio that is 12 by 12 to raise potted flowers on. We lived in a house on 2 acres, so I miss the gardens. There are a lot of good people on this Forum. They can answer most any question or problem you have. Take care and lots and lots of HUGGS. Margaret.

Hi Pat, my name is Roma. Glad to have you here! I lived in the Ft. Worth area for 8 years, then moved to Texarkana, AR just one mile from the Texas state line. So, we're not too far away. I really liked it there as it's about 5-10 degrees warmer !!!
