That is a very beautiful gown. Since it was made so long ago, it would be very difficult to find a pattern I would think. Maybe check on some vintage crochet links?

I'm not surprised at the final auction price. The handwork in that dress is incredible. What a challenge to create! I love vintage crochet, particularly vintage Irish and I've never seen a pattern for a dress like that, or similar. I wonder if it was a custom made design?
