Hello from Kansas!

I'm from a very small city in Southeast Kansas! I love to play with my grandchildren, crochet, sew and play with beads!! I've crocheted since I was 3 and learned to knit at 8 and sew at 10....many years ago!! I love to make afghans, scarves and am currently working on the ruffled scarves that we are giving to people when they make donations to my grandsons Medical Fund, The Doodlebug Fund! I am disabled after having Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and Rheumatoid Arthritis. But I'm alive, I have a great family and enjoy life to the fullest!!

Hi NanaM! Welcome to the forums! There are lots of great people here to help or be helped. LOL I too am disabled due to a back injury, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. So far I haven't found any crochet that I won't at least attempt! I learned to crochet at around 6 or 7, also was taught to sew around the same time. I never could get the hang of knitting though, I think I'm better off with only one hook instead of two needles! LOL I hope your grandson gets better soon! It's hard when the younger ones are sick.
