Hi everyone, how nice to meet you all. I hope to hear from you as I get acquainted to you all.
I live in SE Kansas in a quaint little town that I love. Since my husband and I retired here, five years ago, I have been learning new things. One of those things I have always wanted to take time to learn is Crocheting. And--now that 2 kids, 3 grandkids and retired status -- are part of my life I have time to do just that.
I hope to learn lots of tips and tricks to help me.
Now I am going to select some of the bottom listed options and try to send this message. I am not too literate in computers, but will give it my best shot.

Hi Larisa, nice to meet you. Is your avatar one of the doilies you have made? It is beautiful and much more advanced than anything I have ever made. I am looking forward to learning lots of things this forum. Do you post patterns or pictures of your work?

I'd brag too if I could make such beautiful things. I used to cross stitch, but then my eyes got too old (haha). I still sew when I can find time and it is always fun. Our church is having a craft sale this Saturday and two of my friends and I have a booth to sell some things. Each of us does something different. Hope you are going to have a good day. Where I live I woke up to 39 degrees. Burrrr, I think winter is on the way. PS- your #3 doily is the most beautiful and delicate doily I have ever seen!
