Guess I reversed the order, but I'm introducing myself now. I live in central Florida. I bead, do polymer clay, and make cards, but I always have a crochet project with me for those times when I have to wait, or just want to crochet! I have been crocheting for over 35 years. I'm at the age where I usually don't want to commit to large projects--afghans, etc. (It's too hot hereto have a big project on my lap!) I like to do shawls. Love the new ruffled yarns for scarves.
I posted a request for pattern information and was happily surprised to get replies very quickly. This group is on the ball!
    Thanks again,
    Lin da

Hi Lin da and welcome. I'm Shelly from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Nice to meet you. Have a great day. I've made so many ruffled scarves I've lost count but I still love them. They are a quick project and not a handful to carry around. Shelly

    Hi Shelly,
You are right about that. I have made a bunch of them. People are amazed when I say how easy they are to make. Great to have on hand for quick gift.
And now, there are so many varieties of ruffle yarn.
