I am Christine, living in Southern Indiana. I crochet mostly baby items for charity. Crochet is relazing for me- keeps my hands busy and I enjoy finding new techniques to stretch my brain.
Thank you all for all the free patterns.

Welcome!!! I sure hope you enjoy it here. We have a great group of people and love to share. There is always someone with an answer to questions too. We'd love to see some of your creations if you'd like to post them too! There is a link at the top called "Help" that will show you how to post pics.

Welcome - isn't it great that you donate baby items. It's wonderful to have a hobby that you love and be able to help others at the same time!

Hi Christine: Welcome to CT. Glad you have joined our group! I am 66, retired and have four grandchildren. I crochet baby blankets for Project Linus. I have made a lot of blankets for NICU and a boys ranch too. I love to give them away!!!! Shirley

    Thank you

Thank you all for the nice welcome. I appreciate the information.
It is nice to know fellow corcheters or as Knots of Love calls them-- knotters.
The charity makes chemo hats, and now has started to take preemie blanket donations.
They have a strict list about yarn for hats.
I love giving things away, but the postage is getting out of control.

Hi Christine: I agree with you that the postage is getting out of sight. We have Project Linus mtgs every month except for June-August so I take my blankets with me to the mtgs so I don't have to mail them. Show us pics if you have them. I like that "Knotters". Have a good weekend. Shirley
