Ponytail crocheted hats

Hi everyone, I am looking to find a patterns for a hat with a hole for a ponytail. Any ideas?

Try doing a search for "crochet ponytail hat" and see what you can find. Possibly on Purple Kitty where there are lots of vintage patterns.

Here is a simple beanie pattern, with an opening for a ponytail. I made this for my granddaughter.

You might want to check when you get to the round where you are making the hole, to be sure it's in the right place. The pattern as written was for a ponytail worn higher up on the head than my granddaughter wears hers. Round 6 on the pattern is where she chains 5 for the opening. That was too high up for my beanie, so I crocheted a few more rounds before I made the hole.
