As a child I would sit with my great-grandmother and watch her crochet. Her promise to me was that when I was old enough she would show me how , sadly she passed before I was old enough. Now I am,( through trial and error mostly error) trying to learn this craft. Reading patterns is what gives me the most grief. However I will continue until I succeed !

Hi Tawanna,
Glad you joined us. Patterns can be a real pain to wade through. I have to block out everything else on the page and just concentrate on one step at a time to keep it from overwhelming me.
One of the great things about the internet are all the videos that show you the pattern or stitch that you can play over and over until you figure it out. We have a lot of videos posted on the resource pages that should be helpful.

It is nice to have you onboard. Welcome to the group! I am sure you will always hold fond memories of watching your grandmother crocheting! I look forward to hearing more about you and your projects!
