    Question Hello & request for yarn

    Happy to join the forum, and hope to have time to check in regularly. I've been knitting for about 2 years, as I've worked toward retirement. Now learning some crochet techniques, and liking the variety of stitches.
    I have some yarn purchased at my local yarn shop: I bought the last they had of Schaefer Yarn's Laurel cotton yarn. Lovely yarn. But unfortunately, Schaefer has closed up shop. I really would like to have another skein of color: Laura Ingalls Wilder. The skeins are large - 400 yds - and most of the patterns I'd like to make with it require 1000 to 1200 yds. Anyone know where this yarn may still be available? Thanks for being there.

    I would check on ebay. Sometimes someone will have something like that to sell.

    I did a search for your yarn online and it came up with an ebay listing, but for a different color. So, I would keep my eyes open there. Also, maybe other members will have some options available for you! Glad you are here with us!

    Welcome: glad you have joined us. I had the same problem with Red Heart Baby Love yarn: they just flat discontinued it. How about Herrschners?
