My name is although I have crocheted for years, (my mom taught me years ago) I am new to the

forum here on Crochet Talk.

I hope I meet some new friends with similar interests. My favorite items to make are afghans.

every afghan I have made, and there are many) were made for special people so I never kept any

for myself. My favorite afghan I made was a piano, complete with the long stemmed rose across

the keys for a retiring teacher where I worked. she loved it!!

I hope to chat with many of you; what I like to think is there areno strangers, only friends we have

not met yet.

Thanks so much Barbara for you reply. I love crocheting so much but I am

afraid it has become a lost art. I like to think crocheting/knitting are works

of art and that is the main reason I enjoy it so much.
