baby cowboy hat

[Crocheting Grandma]

Hello...I am new to all this so here goes. I am finally getting a little grandson to go with my 5 lovely granddaughters. My daughter sent me a picture of a baby wearing a crocheted cowboy hat and boots. I can figure out how to make the boots but am at a loss for the hat. Every site I go to to get a free hat pattern just gives me the runaround. Can someone help me out with a pattern?

Crocheting Grandma, if you go to this website: http://web.archive.org/web/200607031.../cowboyhat.htm - you will find a free pattern for a child's cowboy hat. I'm quite sure if you used a smaller hook, it would fit a baby. Hope this helps.--Jan

I want to thank this forum for the help it gave me in finding a ckwboy hat pattern. I used a smaller hook and completed a baby size hat. It goes well with the boots I had already made. Thank you, thank you.
